Yay, Midterm Exams are finally over and this weekend i had again some time to go out and explore Seoul. Our destination this time: Kwang Jang Market 광장시장

The Kwang Jang Market in Seoul (or also Gwangjang Market, depends on the romanization style) is a very well visited market all during the day. You can get there easily with the subway line 1 to Jongno 5 ga Station, Exit 8 and you can’t miss. Just follow the smell of food and you will find it
You can also buy ton of various things like clothes and cheap things but it is definitely more famous and known for it’s food there.

Sunjin was really into buying some soon dae 순대, so we stopped by one food stall to grab some enormous huge ones. But honestly, i wasn’t that convinced about the taste and the huge size made it a little bit inconvienent to eat somehow.

I was more into the fried stuff and especially into the pancakes 빈대떡, which really taste soooo great! And if you want to eat some 빈대떡 in the Kwang Jang Market, i highly recommand you Sooni’s pancake place or just 순이네 빈대떡 !!!

We were lucky because we could get a seat immediately but sometimes you need to wait ages to get a place there. Last year when i went there we need to wait for sure around an hour to get a seat. But believe me, it’s worth the wait! Besides the normal pancake 빈대떡 we also ordered some meat pancake 고기 완자 too, which i can also highly recommand. I even like the meaty ones more..

I enjoyed it sooo much that i wanted to take some additional meat pancakes 고기 완자 home as well
Hehe.. Yummy, Yummy!

These two old guys were some real trouble makers. They are called 아저씨 (A-jeo-ssi) which means like “old grumpy men”
They were both extremely drunk and started to fuzz around that they want a additional Soju bottle for free because they insisted that they paid for it already. Can you see the face of the food stall owner
Haha..

Generally i had a great time there and enjoyed eating there a lot. If you are in Seoul and looking for a great food / drinking experience, check out the Kwang Jang Market 광장시장 !!! You won’t regret it!
